- Joe, ironically, wants to abolish the one freedom that allows the patriot to, in fact, be a patriot - freedom of the press. An uninformed citizen is merely an ignorant dupe. He also misses the irony in banning the media because they only have "half the story".

- The only relevant issue is this one - who is the "we" this refers to? Clearly, not all americans "trust in God" and clearly not all are required to. Who is this special interest "we" and why are they allowed to speak with the mistaken claim of representing "all"?
